Environmental Waste Services Officer

We are looking for an Environmental Waste Services Officer to join our team.

This is a part-time post of 15 hours per week, working Saturday and Sunday 07:00 - 15:00

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, with excellent team working and communication skills. Experience of working with the public is essential.

Experience of waste management/handling would be an advantage.

Main Duties

  • Ensure the day-to-day handling and disposal of waste is in accordance with approved practices.
  • Collect waste and/or laundry from areas around the Trust and transport it to the Trust's Waste Transfer Stations or waste storage points.
  • Be employed to cover any post on any shift in the team.

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.
