Overview

Decision Analysis Services Limited (DAS) is an independent professional services company. Since 2007 we have provided services globally to more than 200 client organisations within the energy, defence, government, transport, and health sectors. Based in offices from Glasgow to Sydney, we support clients across five continents.

We specialise in bridging the gap between strategic planning and operational execution, developing enduring solutions to the uniquely complex issues faced by our clients. We are experts in programme management, systems thinking, investment modelling, machine learning, and data analysis. These unique skills, coupled with our extensive experience of engineering, regulatory practices and operations delivery enable us to develop sustainable, long-term solutions for our clients.

The Roles

DAS is a growing organisation with new client opportunities upcoming through Autumn/Winter 26-27, and we would like to grow our team of both permanent staff and trusted contractors in order to fulfil our clients’ needs. As a professional within the Defence sector, you would play a crucial role in delivering expert project controls and project management services, helping clients enhance project performance through effective management. Our opportunities are likely to be for:

  • Project Controls Managers
  • Cost Managers
  • Risk Managers
  • Planners & Schedulers
  • Project Controllers
  • Project Managers
  • Safety Engineers

· Integrated Project Controls: Implement and manage cost, risk, and planning controls to support robust project governance and performance
· Client-Focused Service Delivery: Deliver fully integrated project controls solutions tailored to defence clients
· Innovative Solutions & Data Integration: Collaborate with the innovation’s hub and Data Science experts to develop advanced solutions for project challenges
· Team Leadership & Development: Manage and inspire a dedicated project controls team, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth
· Cross-Practice Collaboration: Work within a multidisciplinary environment to develop and implement project controls solutions that enhance overall project efficiency

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should bring a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications and experience:

· Education & Experience: Degree-educated with 5+ years’ experience in your project discipline
· Project Management Expertise: Strong project delivery experience, ideally with PMP, PRINCE2, or APM accreditation
· Technical & Analytical Skills: Proficiency in relevant project controls tools (e.g. Project Control Managers: Primavera P6, MS Project), cost control methodologies, or risk management frameworks (ISO 31000)
· Commercial & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives
· Problem-Solving & Leadership: Strong analytical and numerical skills with a proactive approach to managing risks, optimising costs, and improving planning efficiency
