Role

As Genesis Energies diversifies our business offering in areas that compliment our existing focus we are growing our presence in the Power Generation sector with a key focus on the design review of major CCGT (Combined Cycle Gas Turbines) projects in The UK and internationally from our London office. Due to a number of ongoing proposals that are looking promising we are keen to hear from seasoned engineers across a number of disciplines that have experience on large CCGTs of 500MW or power and above to compliment the team.

The positions would be based out of London office on a contract basis, outside of IR35.

The disciplines that we are looking for include:

  • Mechanical engineer (rotating equipment) – gas turbines / steam turbines
  • Mechanical engineer (static equipment) – HRSGs, air cooled condensers
  • Control & Instrumentation engineer
  • Telecoms engineer
  • Electrical engineer (CCGT plants)
  • Electrical engineer (HV grid connection)
  • Civil and structural engineer
  • Environmental engineer
  • Social performance specialist
  • Loss prevention / fire safety engineer
  • HSE engineer
  • Piping and layout engineer
  • Construction engineer
  • Commissioning engineer
  • Materials specialist
