EOI - Project Commercial Manager

Wood is currently sourcing Expression of Interest applications for an upcoming Project Commercial Manager position to be located in North East England within our Process and Energy (P&E) business. Please note this is not a live position.

At a high level, the job objectives are;
- Maximise commercial performance while managing business/project risk (pre and post-contract)
- Commercialisation of service offerings to support business growth and strategy
- Developing teams with in-depth commercial and cross-functional expertise to support the assigned business
- Ensure compliance with relevant commercial/contracting policies
- Resolution of disputes/claims and cash collection issues
- Embedding effective commercial governance and assurance across Project / Portfolio of Projects
- Managing the tender governance process
- Manages and provides team members with the general direction in commercial activities during the contract life cycle from input into tenders through contract delivery to contract commercial closeout
- Implementation commercial strategy for the Business Unit within assigned project and ensures alignment of objectives to the business unit strategy

P&E offers a wide range of opportunities which will allow you to develop your skills across a portfolio of onshore projects in different sectors. Our current portfolio includes green hydrogen and fuel switching, as well as supporting local clients with energy transition. Additionally, we work on UK refineries, petrochemical facilities, fine chemicals and pharmaceutical facilities. We have a number of clients who we are working with to design their pilot plants to test exciting new technologies, with a view to partnering with them as they move to design and build full scale commercial facilities.
