  • Breaking complex scientific concepts into manageable and accessible steps.
  • Identifying gaps in scientific knowledge and providing targeted support.
  • Supporting a learner who may have experienced barriers to mainstream education.
  • Helping the learner re-engage with education in a positive and meaningful way.
  • Supporting anxiety, school avoidance, disengagement and other barriers to learning.
  • Creating a calm, structured and positive learning environment.
  • Using the learner’s interests and strengths to encourage curiosity and engagement.
  • Supporting practical and theoretical aspects of Science where appropriate.
  • Supporting GCSE Science and exam preparation where appropriate.
  • Developing confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards learning.
  • Supporting emotional regulation and positive learning behaviours.
  • Supporting challenging or unpredictable behaviour using appropriate strategies where required.
  • Monitoring progress, engagement and development.
  • Providing appropriate feedback to parents/carers and other professionals.
  • Building a positive, consistent and trusting relationship with the learner.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider support team.
  • Maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Following safeguarding procedures and promoting the welfare of the young person.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
