UK & Ireland Marketing Lead
Travel: This field-based leadership role requires a minimum of three days per week travel across the UK & Ireland.

Purpose of the Role
Johnson & Johnson MedTech Electrophysiology is seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Marketing Lead to drive strategic growth across the UK & Ireland business.
This senior leadership position will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that accelerate market growth, strengthen customer partnerships, and support the successful adoption of innovative electrophysiology technologies.
The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, commercial execution and customer focus to deliver sustainable business growth while collaborating closely with local, regional and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute the UK & Ireland marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Translate global and regional priorities into impactful local market initiatives.
- Identify market opportunities, customer needs and emerging trends to inform business strategy.
- Lead annual marketing planning processes and associated investment decisions.
- Ensure effective lifecycle management across the electrophysiology portfolio.

Business Growth & Market Development
- Drive market adoption and customer engagement through innovative marketing programmes.
- Support the successful introduction and commercialisation of new technologies and solutions.
- Develop customer-focused value propositions that address clinical and operational challenges.
- Monitor competitive dynamics and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Partner with commercial teams to maximise growth opportunities and customer value.
Customer Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare stakeholders and opinion leaders.
- Support educational initiatives, scientific programmes and professional development activities.
- Represent Johnson & Johnson MedTech at industry congresses, customer meetings and professional events.
- Serve as a trusted partner to customers in advancing patient care and healthcare outcomes.
People Leadership
- Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing marketing organisation.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and accountability.
- Coach and develop talent while creating an environment where individuals can thrive.
- Champion inclusion, diversity and employee engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, Professional Education, Health Economics, Market Access, Finance and other cross-functional partners.
- Collaborate with EMEA and Global teams to ensure alignment of strategy and execution.
- Drive organisational excellence through strong stakeholder management and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or a related field.
- Significant experience within healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals or a related industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful commercial and marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in high-performance environments.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively within a complex matrix organisation.
Preferred
- Experience within cardiovascular, electrophysiology or medical technology sectors.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification.
- Experience working within multinational organisations and regional/global structures.
- Experience leading product launches and market development initiatives.

Additional Information
This position is field based.
Candidates must be willing and able to travel extensively throughout the UK & Ireland.
A minimum of three days per week customer-facing travel is required.
Occasional international travel may be required.
