BELECTRIC UK is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our growing team. You'll take ownership of EPC contract strategy and management across our portfolio of solar PV and battery storage projects, playing a pivotal role in delivering major renewable energy developments across the UK.
- Taking the lead within Belectric UK project teams for development and management of EPC contracts and associated supply or service subcontracts.
- Supporting sales and project teams with contract management capability and understanding.
- Applying a robust contracting strategy to ensure projects are delivered to high quality, on time and within budget.
- Preparing, reviewing, negotiating and managing contracts regarding all requirements and obligations of an EPC project including scope, timeline, costs, communication and documentation
- Managing amendments, variations and claims including identification and evaluation of project events and project facts
- Supporting project teams in all contractual matters including risk management, contractual disputes/escalations, and claims as well as contractual communication.
- Developing and maintaining standards and processes for contract management across EPC projects including KPIs to monitor performance.
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with customers, key suppliers and key internal teams including sales, procurement, engineering, commercial, project management and legal.
Your profile
- Extensive relevant professional experience in contract and claim Management in mid to large scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of contract and project matters in an EPC environment
- Previous experience of managing contractual issues from escalation, claims disputes, mediation and through to resolution.
- Experience of negotiating agreements with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Comfortable with working with bespoke contracts for different clients
- Degree in relevant engineering, commercial or legal discipline
- Confident in developing strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors and internally.
- Excellent communicator, fluent in English
- Comfortable with travel and overnight stays - 5-10% of the time

We are specialised in the design, construction and operation of large-scale solar farms. After seven years of mainly focusing on O&M activities in the United Kingdom, BELECTRIC UK returned to the market as an EPC service provider with full force in 2022.
Operations & Maintenance
Our O&M service offers solar and battery storage system operators an all-in-one solution to secure and improve their systems. The BELECTRIC UK team provides O&M services for more than 25 PV power plants with a total installed capacity of more than 300 MWp throughout the country.
Battery Storage Systems
We do not only support our customers in the field of photovoltaics, but also as a general contractor in the engineering and purchasing of battery storage solutions. On the UK market, hybrid systems are becoming increasingly important.
