EPC Sourcing Lead

As an EPC Sourcing Lead, you will serve as the primary procurement focal point between project teams, clients, product lines, and the integrated supply chain organization. You will lead sourcing strategies, supplier engagement, commercial negotiations, and procurement execution to ensure project objectives are achieved safely, efficiently, and within budget.
As an EPC Sourcing Lead, you will:
- Developing and executing sourcing strategies aligned with project schedules, budgets, and customer requirements.
- Leading RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, tender evaluations, supplier selection, and contract award activities.
- Managing procurement of major equipment, fabricated components, subcontracted services, and project-critical materials.
- Negotiating supplier contracts, commercial terms, pricing agreements, and long-term framework agreements.
- Driving cost reduction initiatives and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) improvements.
- Building and maintaining strategic supplier relationships while supporting supplier development initiatives.
- Monitoring supplier performance through KPIs, business reviews, and continuous improvement programs.
- Assessing and mitigating supply chain risks related to quality, capacity, logistics, delivery, and market conditions.
- Collaborating closely with Engineering, Operations, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
- Supporting change order management, contract compliance, and claims resolution activities.
- Providing regular sourcing updates, forecasts, risk assessments, and procurement status reports to project teams and customers.
- Acting as the client-facing procurement lead throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills
- Strong experience in Strategic Sourcing and Procurement.
- Expertise in supplier management and supplier relationship development.
- Strong commercial acumen with contract negotiation experience.
- Experience managing EPC project procurement activities.
- Knowledge of procurement processes including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, tendering, and contract administration.
- Understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), cost modelling, and savings initiatives.
- Experience identifying and mitigating supply chain risks.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of ERP and procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Ariba, or Coupa.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Have 4-7 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Contract Management.
- Have experience leading sourcing activities within EPC, Oil & Gas, Energy, Renewables, Infrastructure, Construction, Utilities, or Industrial Manufacturing projects.
- Have proven success managing high-value supplier contracts and commercial negotiations.
- Have experience coordinating between customer requirements and internal business objectives.
- Have demonstrated ability to work as an individual contributor while influencing cross-functional teams.
- Have strong experience with direct procurement and project-based sourcing activities.
- Have experience managing supplier performance, procurement compliance, and risk mitigation programs.
- Have the ability to present sourcing recommendations and commercial strategies to senior stakeholders and clients.

Preferred Qualifications
- CIPS, CPSM, PMP, or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) or project execution programs.
- Knowledge of claims management and change order processes.
- Experience in global sourcing environments.
