Epic Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Epic Project Manager based in United Kingdom.

This is a senior project management role focused on delivering complex Epic and healthcare IT initiatives from planning through stabilization.

You’ll lead implementations, Community Connect deployments, practice onboarding, optimizations, upgrades, and related transformation projects.

The role combines structured project delivery with close collaboration across clinical, technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.

You’ll coordinate multiple workstreams spanning applications, integrations, testing, training, technical readiness, cutover, and go-live.

A key focus will be ensuring physician practices and other stakeholders are fully prepared for successful deployment and adoption.

You’ll manage risks, dependencies, resources, governance, and communications while maintaining momentum across concurrent initiatives.

The position offers an opportunity to shape repeatable delivery practices in a collaborative healthcare technology environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead Epic implementations, Community Connect deployments, optimizations, upgrades, and other complex healthcare IT projects from initial planning through stabilization.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, issues, and executive reporting.
  • Coordinate workstreams across Epic applications, technical readiness, interfaces, devices, testing, training, cutover, and operational readiness.
  • Manage Community Connect practice onboarding, including scope confirmation, readiness tracking, workflow coordination, implementation planning, and deployment sequencing.
  • Partner with client leadership, physician practices, Epic application and technical teams, vendors, and internal resources to maintain alignment and drive timely decisions.
  • Facilitate governance meetings, status reviews, risk management activities, escalations, and stakeholder communications.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects or implementation waves while maintaining delivery standards, quality, and timelines.
  • Support cutover, go-live, issue triage, stabilization, and transition to ongoing support.
  • Coordinate assignments, dependencies, priorities, and client expectations with Epic analysts and leadership.
  • Contribute to repeatable Community Connect tools, templates, governance practices, and project delivery methodologies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
