About EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum
EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum tells the moving and unforgettable stories of those who left the island of Ireland, and how they influenced and shaped the world.
It is much more than just a museum. EPIC is a place where Irish stories are told in an exciting, vibrant and interactive way. You don’t just read about history, you get fully immersed and experience this breath-taking story in state-of-the-art interactive galleries, complete with touch screens, motion sensor quizzes and a feast of powerful audio and video that bring Irish Stories to life.
The storytelling journey continues for our visitors when they arrive in the EPIC Gift shop where products have been handpicked showcasing Irish design and craftmanship.
Centrally located in the beautifully restored vaults of the historic CHQ building in Dublin’s Docklands. We’ve been voted “Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction” 3 years in a row and are just as committed to engaging and developing our people through the Fáilte Ireland Employer Excellence Programme and are especially proud to be one of Ireland’s Best Places to Work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
