Experienced Epicor ERP Support Specialist with expertise in POC Accounting and multiERP testing providing functional and technical support for project-based accounting processes

Job Description

Epicor ERP Support Specialist

Provide Level 2 and Level 3 functional and technical support for Epicor ERP 10x preferably 10.2.400 focusing on Percentage of Completion (POC) Accounting within the Projects module. Support revenue recognition, job costing, WIP accounting, month-end, and year-end financial close activities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues across ERP modules including Finance, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize POC accounting processes for accurate revenue and cost recognition on long-term projects.
  • Manage job costing structures, WIP calculations, and project accounting processes.
  • Investigate discrepancies related to POC calculations, job cost variances, revenue recognition, and GL postings.
  • Support General Ledger reconciliations, multi-company, and multi-currency accounting and compliance.
  • Participate in ERP upgrades, system testing, patch validation, change management, and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain BAQ reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support business decision-making.
  • Provide user support, training, and guidance, maintain Epicor user security, and access controls.
  • Maintain ERP documentation, procedures, and support knowledge base.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders and external vendors as required.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Deliver Level 2 and Level 3 support for Epicor ERP and related ERP systems testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues in Epicor ERP and other ERP platforms.
  • Configure and optimize POC accounting and job costing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes including WIP adjustments and reconciliations.
  • Assist finance teams with General Ledger processes, multi-company, and multi-currency accounting.
  • Lead ERP system upgrades, testing, and change management activities.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts to facilitate management decisions.
  • Provide training, user support, and maintain security access controls within Epicor ERP.
  • Maintain comprehensive ERP documentation and knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Project Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, and external vendors.
  • Conduct testing and validation for additional ERP systems such as JDA, PoS, PLM, Infor LN, JDE, and Peoplesoft to ensure integration and functionality.
