Job Title

18 month FTC
3 days a week in Central London office

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced EPM Lead to shape and improve the organisation’s approach to performance management, planning, forecasting and reporting.

The role will play a key part in supporting a major ERP transformation, ensuring that the future ERP environment is underpinned by effective performance management, reporting, data and planning capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Performance & EPM Strategy

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for enterprise performance management, reporting and planning.
  • Define how EPM and reporting capabilities should support the wider ERP transformation.
  • Develop a consistent approach to budgeting, forecasting, KPIs and performance measurement.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate existing processes.
  • Align financial, operational and strategic performance information.

Reporting & Data

  • Lead the development of a modern reporting and analytics capability aligned to the future ERP landscape.
  • Evaluate EPM, BI and reporting technologies and make recommendations for future investment.
  • Establish consistent definitions, reporting standards and KPI frameworks.
  • Work with Data and Technology teams to improve data quality, integration and accessibility.
  • Ensure reporting requirements are effectively reflected within the ERP programme and wider data architecture.
  • Promote greater automation and self-service reporting.

Operating Model & Governance

  • Define the operating model, roles and governance required to support enterprise reporting and performance management.
  • Establish appropriate processes for reporting demand, prioritisation, change and support.
  • Ensure appropriate controls around data quality, reporting accuracy, security and compliance.
  • Support the business in adopting new processes and capabilities delivered through the ERP transformation.

Delivery & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead EPM and reporting workstreams alongside the wider ERP transformation programme.
  • Translate business and Finance requirements into practical reporting, planning and performance solutions.
  • Work closely with Finance, Technology, Data, Operations and ERP programme stakeholders.
  • Manage internal teams, technology partners and third-party suppliers where required.
  • Facilitate workshops and communicate complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Provide recommendations and progress updates to executive leadership.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Significant experience leading EPM, performance reporting, management information or finance transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial performance management.
  • Experience with EPM/BI platforms such as Anaplan, Power BI or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of data, reporting architecture and information management.
  • Experience supporting or working alongside major ERP transformation programmes.
  • Experience designing operating models and governance frameworks.
  • Proven track record delivering complex transformation programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working at Executive/C-suite level.
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with practical delivery.

Desirable

  • Experience with enterprise data governance or master data management.
  • Experience working across complex ERP or multi-system environments.
  • Professional qualification such as ACA, CIMA, CFA, PMP or TOGAF.
  • Experience implementing self-service reporting and analytics capabilities.
