We pair easy-to-use technology with fast, local field service and customer support, so our clients' systems keep running with as little downtime as possible. The role
This is a part-time, on-site EPOS Field Technician role based in Sheffield. You'll install, configure and test EPOS terminals, peripherals and software at customer sites across Sheffield and the surrounding area.

What you'll do
- Install and set up EPOS terminals, printers, card terminals and other peripherals
- Diagnose hardware, software and network faults, and repair or replace equipment
- Make sure every system is fully working before you leave the site
- Show customers how to use key features and handle basic troubleshooting themselves
- Pass complex issues to the support team and work with them to resolve them
- Carry out scheduled service visits and keep service tickets, equipment records and parts inventory up to date
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting EPOS hardware, peripherals or similar IT equipment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- A professional, friendly manner on site, and the ability to explain technical things simply
- Basic networking knowledge (routers, cabling, IP settings) and familiarity with Windows
- Good time management across several jobs a day
- Careful, accurate record-keeping
- A full UK driving licence, and the ability to carry and use tools and equipment safely

Nice to have
- Previous experience in EPOS, IT field service or technical support
- A technical qualification or apprenticeship in IT, electronics or a related field
