Brand New Role
This is a brand new role for us, so the individual will have scope to shape and develop within the nature of the role. Please note, this role is based 5 days per week onsite and a 9 - 12 months fixed-term contract.
Job Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an EPOS Support Administrator. Reporting to the Operations and Projects Coordinator, the EPOS Support Administrator will assist with supporting the mobilisation, preparation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the product databases across the EPOS systems. Ensuring data accuracy and integrity is very important, as well as a consistent standardised product hierarchy across all locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with elements of EPOS mobilisation and setup and communicate new business units to other teams as part of the site mobilisation process related to systems
- Data Entry and maintaining records for products, cost prices, selling prices, barcodes, recipes, Nutritics link, etc.
- Ensuring all products are maintained up to date with all attributes required
- Involved in providing support to operations, estate wide, including till mapping and uploading price changes in the systems. Liaise with onsite all Operations teams to gain knowledge of product/price setup requirements for the client
- Ensure client EPOS system is built and configured to specification within the allocated timescales
- Setup and maintenance of business units on Kanpla, inclusive but not exhaustive of: Till updates, menu updates and till button mapping; client requests for additional products, price changes and any other adjustments
- Support Operations team with any required training on the EPOS system and assist with additional ad hoc requests that come in from Operational Managers
- Involved in the implementation and reporting output with Kanpla across, and Reporting using Power BI, where applicable
- Assist with maintenance and monitor performance of Kanpla data & corresponding PowerBi data.
- Voucher distribution to app/client and App updates
- Assist in working as One Team, projecting a willing and helpful attitude to colleagues and clients.
- Ensure all training courses are completed at all times, avoiding overdue deadlines and take responsibility for contributing towards your own development with the guidance of your line manager and/or relevant mentor.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Ability to work as a team player, customer focused manner and a commitment to delivering excellent service
- Good time management, organisation and prioritisation skills as the job requires the applicant to work on multiple contracts simultaneously
- Ability to communicate clearly using the phone, Teams, face to face and email
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel etc…)
- Very good eye for detail and a healthy obsession for delivering accuracy
Desirable:
- General knowledge of EPOS systems and the operation of EPOS systems within Hospitality
- Experience in a similar role previously
- Previous experience of Power BI or other reporting system
