Job Description: Digital Information Officers

We are seeking motivated clinicians to become Digital Information Officers to support the deployment of the new Electronic Patient Record (EPR). These roles will be essential in ensuring that clinical voices are represented throughout design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live activities.

The Digital Information Officers will champion safe, effective, and user-centred clinical digital practice and will act as trusted points of contact within their clinical areas. They will support staff engagement, promote digital readiness, and help ensure the EPR is designed and implemented in a way that supports high-quality patient care.

Please note that interviews will be held in person on Friday 11th September. We are not able to accommodate virtual interviews, there is also a requirement to work across all 3 sites over a 5 day period, this is not a remote working role.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing IT & patient systems training programme and identifying needs for the Trust to meet the regional and national training requirements.
  • To lead the training team in meeting changing organizational demands on training requirements.
  • To work in collaboration with project managers on large scale projects (example: EPR) ensuring most efficient training plans are designed and put in place and to assist in the transition.
  • To develop and progress use of e-learning for IT and patient systems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
