EPR Training & Digital Adoption Lead
6 months plus - Inside of IR35
Our client, a consultancy who support major public sector clients, are seeking an EPR Training & Digital Adoption Lead to support a major for one of their London based NHS Electronic Patient Record upgrade programmes.
This is a senior delivery role, responsible for turning the existing training strategy into a detailed and deliverable plan, ensuring the organisation is fully prepared for EPR go-live.
The Role
You will lead the EPR training and end-user adoption workstream, working closely with programme leadership, clinical and operational teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Developing the overall EPR training and end-user support delivery plan.
- Creating a comprehensive resource plan covering training, floorwalking, helpdesk, and go-live/hypercare support.
- Assessing existing internal capability and identifying resource or specialist skills gaps.
- Establishing appropriate governance, reporting, readiness measures, risks, and dependencies.
- Translating the EPR training strategy into a practical and measurable delivery programme.
- Leading the procurement, implementation, and deployment of a Digital Adoption Platform (DAP).
- Working with DAP suppliers and internal teams to configure, test, and deploy the platform ahead of go-live.
- Ensuring the DAP supports user onboarding, training, adoption, and ongoing user support.
- Coordinating training and adoption activities with wider EPR programme milestones.
- Providing regular progress, risk, and readiness reporting to programme governance groups.
- Developing the go-live and hypercare training and end-user support model.

Experience Required
Due to the nature of this requirement and quick turnaround times, we can only consider candidates with EPR training adoption including Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) experience.
- Significant experience leading training, digital adoption, learning, or organisational change workstreams within major digital transformation programmes.
- Experience supporting a major EPR or healthcare technology implementation.
- Strong experience developing and managing training delivery and readiness plans.
- Hands-on experience implementing a Digital Adoption Platform, such as WalkMe, Whatfix, Pendo, Apty, Userlane, or equivalent.
- Experience planning and mobilising large-scale end-user support, including floorwalking and hypercare.
- Strong programme management, stakeholder engagement, and governance experience.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to work effectively across clinical, operational, technical, and programme teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced EPR Training Lead, Digital Adoption Lead, EPR Change Lead, or Training Programme Manager to take a lead role within a major NHS transformation programme under a large consultancy's excellent programme team.
