Coventry City Football Club EDI Coordinator

Coventry City Football Club is looking for an enthusiastic EDI Coordinator with a genuine interest in equality, diversity and inclusion, and a desire to build a career in this field.

Working closely with the Club’s EDI lead, you will help coordinate activities that make the Club a more inclusive place for staff, supporters and the wider community. You will also support our progress towards the Premier League’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Standard (PLEDIS).

Previous EDI experience is not essential. We welcome applications from people at the beginning of their careers or looking to move into this area. What matters most is your willingness to learn, your organisational skills, your genuine interest in this area and commitment to helping people feel welcome, respected and included.

The Club’s EDI lead will retain responsibility for the overall strategy and direction. You will receive guidance and support as you develop your knowledge, build confidence and gradually take greater ownership of activities within the role. There will be opportunities to contribute your ideas and make the role your own as you grow.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Support the Club’s EDI lead in delivering the EDI Strategy and Action Plan.
  • Coordinate work towards PLEDIS, including collecting evidence, maintaining records and tracking progress.
  • Organise meetings, prepare notes and follow up on agreed actions.
  • Plan and coordinate EDI initiatives both internally and externally.
  • Support the organisation of EDI training, awareness sessions and events.
  • Help prepare communications, resources and campaigns that promote equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Assist with gathering and organising equality monitoring data and preparing progress updates, with guidance.
  • Work with colleagues across the Club to support inclusive practices and encourage participation in EDI activities.
  • Support relationships with community organisations, external partners and relevant networks.
  • Help keep EDI policies, documents and resources organised and up to date.
  • Bring ideas for initiatives that help staff, supporters and the wider community feel welcome and included.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
