B&W Equine Group has an exciting opportunity for a committed and hardworking new or recent graduate to join our 18-month Internship Programme. We are proud to be part of the BEVA Recognised Internship Scheme.
As a successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your knowledge and skills alongside internationally renowned specialists within our state-of-the-art equine hospital in Gloucestershire.
We currently have one position available, commencing in April 2027. You will work as part of a team of four hospital interns alongside an experienced team of equine veterinarians, including eight Diploma holders with specialist expertise in surgery, medicine, diagnostic imaging, sports medicine, and dentistry.
Our busy hospital offers a diverse and challenging caseload, supported by cutting-edge facilities and equipment. Out-of-hours hospital duties are shared equally on a 1-in-4 rota. During these periods, you will be supported on-site by two nurses/patient care assistants, as well as having access to a senior medicine clinician and surgeon.

Each intern is assigned a clinical mentor, one of our specialists, who will provide guidance throughout the internship and help you plan your future career path. Full VetGDP support is provided, and interns are strongly encouraged to undertake clinical research and development projects during their time with us.
Requirements
Applicants should be enthusiastic, possess excellent communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a team. New graduates are welcome to apply, and candidates are strongly encouraged to undertake work experience or EMS placements with us prior to application.

Salary and Benefits
The salary is £36,562.50 based on a 45 hour working week together with an excellent CPD package and comprehensive in-house training programme. Accommodation is provided for out-of-hours duties.
