About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a key equities regulatory reporting programme, with a particular focus on SEC Form 13F.
The successful candidate will lead requirements gathering and analysis, working closely with Compliance, Legal, Operations and Technology teams to translate regulatory requirements into effective business processes and reporting solutions. This role requires strong equities product knowledge alongside hands-on experience of regulatory reporting and 13F filing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis and requirements gathering for equities regulatory reporting, with a primary focus on SEC Form 13F.
- Provide subject matter expertise across 13F filing processes, reporting requirements and operational controls.
- Partner with Compliance and Legal teams to translate regulatory interpretations into clear business and functional requirements.
- Review existing reporting processes, systems and data flows to identify gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce high-quality documentation including business requirements, functional requirements, process maps, gap analyses and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Technology teams to define and implement regulatory reporting solutions, including enhancements to Murex where applicable.
- Support data mapping, reconciliation and validation, ensuring reporting is accurate, complete and fit for regulatory submission.
- Coordinate and support UAT, investigating issues and driving remediation through to implementation and operational handover.
- Contribute to wider equities regulatory initiatives, including short-selling reporting and shareholding disclosure requirements across international jurisdictions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
