The Client
I am currently working with a leading global financial institution that is looking to hire an Equity Derivatives Lawyer into its highly regarded legal team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a sophisticated markets platform, advising on a broad range of equity derivatives transactions and working closely with the trading, structuring, sales, risk, and compliance teams.
The Role
The role will involve:
- Advising on a wide range of OTC and listed equity derivatives products
- Drafting and negotiating related trading agreements
- Supporting new product development and strategic business initiatives
- Providing legal advice on regulatory developments affecting the equities business
- Working closely with stakeholders across the front office and wider control functions

Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer with 4+ years of post qualification experience (PQE) in derivatives law, preferably within a financial services firm or top tier law firm.
- A background from a leading law firm or financial institution
- Excellent technical drafting and negotiation skills
- The ability to build strong relationships with commercial stakeholders
