Funding Partner Role – BoseatsAfrica

Position

Funding Partner / Equity Partner (Shareholder)

Purpose

The Funding Partner provides capital to support the growth and expansion of BoseatsAfrica in exchange for equity ownership in the company. The partner becomes a shareholder and contributes strategically to the long-term success of the business.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Capital Investment
    • Invest the agreed amount of capital into BoseatsAfrica in exchange for an agreed equity stake.
    • Support future funding rounds where appropriate.
  • Strategic Advisory
    • Provide strategic guidance on business growth, expansion, operations, and market positioning.
    • Share industry expertise, experience, and best practices.
  • Business Development
    • Introduce potential investors, strategic partners, merchants, and enterprise clients.
    • Support market expansion into new cities and African markets.
  • Corporate Governance
    • Participate in major business decisions according to shareholder rights.
    • Attend shareholder meetings and review company performance.
  • Financial Oversight
    • Review financial reports and company performance.
    • Promote transparency, accountability, and sustainable financial management.
  • Brand Growth
    • Act as an ambassador for BoseatsAfrica.
    • Help strengthen the company’s reputation and credibility within the investment community.
  • Long-Term Value Creation
    • Support initiatives that increase the company’s valuation and shareholder value.
    • Encourage innovation, technology development, and sustainable growth.

Rights of the Funding Partner

  • Ownership of shares based on the agreed investment.
  • Access to periodic financial and operational reports.
  • Voting rights proportional to equity ownership (where applicable).
  • Eligibility to receive dividends when declared by the Board.
  • Participation in future investment opportunities, subject to company policies.

The Funding Partner is expected to:

  • Maintain confidentiality of company information.
  • Act in the best interests of BoseatsAfrica.
  • Support ethical business practices and corporate governance.
  • Respect the company’s vision, mission, and management structure.
  • Work collaboratively with the executive team to achieve long-term growth.
