Equity Partner CEO Opportunity
Build and lead your own specialist business within the StrideNex Group
Location: UK (100% Remote)
Equity: Up to 45% Class B Equity Partnership (Plus reserved Executive Share Pool)
Time Commitment: 15–20 Hours/Week (Flexible transition alongside current commitments)
This isn't another executive job. It's an opportunity to transition from building someone else's company to building your own.
We're looking for ambitious commercial and operational leaders who have spent the last 6–12 years helping agencies, consultancies or technology businesses grow — and are now ready to step into full business leadership.
If you've ever thought...
- "I could run my own company."
- "I want equity, not just another salary."
- "I want to build my own business, but I don't have the cash capital, the right idea, or the back-office setup to start from scratch." ...this role was designed for you.
About the Opportunity
StrideNex is building a portfolio of specialist technology businesses led by entrepreneurial CEOs.
Rather than asking founders to build everything from scratch, the Group provides the structure, governance, strategic support, operating principles and shared ecosystem that allow exceptional leaders to focus on building valuable companies.
Each CEO leads their own specialist subsidiary with genuine autonomy while benefiting from the resources, collaboration and expertise of the wider StrideNex Group.
The Equity & Partnership Model
This is an ownership-first model designed for long-term wealth creation — not simply another executive position.
- Up to 45% Economic Equity (Class B): A milestone-driven path for you to own nearly half the economic upside of the company you build.
- Reserved Exec Equity Pool: Additional equity set aside for you to recruit and incentivize your own C-suite (CTO, CMO, CCO) as the business scales.
- Zero Upfront Capital Required: You put up £0. The Group funds 100% of the company setup, legal governance, and foundational infrastructure.
- Path to Executive Salary and Dividends: As your business hits initial commercial targets, your remuneration expands into a market-rate executive cash salary (£120k+) alongside quarterly profit dividends.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Ideal Person
This opportunity is ideal for people currently working as:
- Senior Operations Director
- Head of Delivery
- Senior Commercial Manager
- Client Services Director
- Account Director
- Managing Consultant
- Lead Consultant
- Agency General Manager
- Commercial Director
- Delivery Director
Typically, you'll have between 6 and 12 years' experience within a growing agency, consultancy or technology business. You have probably already built teams, grown revenue, hired great people, improved operations and won major clients or launched new services.
However, none of the long-term equity or value belongs to you. We provide the vehicle to fix that - no previous ‘CEO’ or ‘Executive’ title required. That is the opportunity we are providing you with.
Responsibilities
- Defining and executing commercial strategy
- Winning and growing client relationships
- Building and leading a high-performing executive team
- Creating scalable operational systems
- Developing a strong delivery culture
- Driving sustainable revenue and profitability
- Recruiting exceptional talent
- Protecting quality and reputation
- Collaborating with other companies across the Group
- Creating long-term enterprise value rather than chasing short-term revenue
You'll have genuine autonomy to lead your business while aligning with the shared operating principles and strategic direction of the StrideNex Group.
Most executive roles exchange your experience for salary. This role exchanges your leadership for ownership. Rather than being rewarded solely through annual pay rises or bonuses, you'll have the opportunity to earn up to 45% Class B equity, with an additional pool reserved for you to build your executive team (CTO, CMO, etc.). Your success is directly aligned with the long-term success of the business you lead. The better the company performs, the greater your ownership opportunity becomes.

The Ownership Model
Unlike many "equity opportunities", ownership isn't symbolic. It's earned through achieving clearly defined operational and commercial milestones that demonstrate real value creation. As the business matures financially, remuneration evolves from an ownership-led model into a balanced combination of salary, dividends and equity participation. This creates alignment between long-term value creation and personal reward while protecting the stability of the business during its early growth stages.
This is an opportunity to lead your own specialist company, take on a significant long-term equity opportunity
You will have support from several experienced founders, access to shared Group capabilities and infrastructure, freedom to make decisions and shape your business and attain a genuine pathway from senior executive to business owner.
How It Works (The 15–20 Hour Launch Bridge)
We aren’t asking you to jump straight out of a comfortable role into a startup opportunity.
That is why our model is structured around a flexible 15–25 hour/week capacity framework. You can build your Growth Plan, organise your delivery 'Pods', and launch the business alongside your current income-generating commitments, maintaining that dual setup as the company begins trading and clearing its initial commercial milestones. Transitioning into a full-time, salaried CEO role happens on your terms - once company profits and cash flows naturally support it.
How to Apply
We don't do 6-round corporate interview marathons. We move fast.
If you are ready to stop building someone else's empire and start building your own 45% equity stake, send your CV to wendy@stridenex.com to arrange a discussion about the opportunities we have to offer you.
