Equity Production Support Engineer | Systematic Hedge Fund | London

Our client, a leading global hedge fund, is seeking an Equity Production Support Engineer to join its growing front-office technology team. As the firm continues to invest heavily in its trading platform, data capabilities, and production engineering function, this is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a high-performance environment where technology is deeply embedded within the investment process and directly impacts trading success.

Sitting at the heart of the equities business, you'll work side-by-side with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Analysts, ensuring the reliability, performance, and continual improvement of business-critical trading systems. Beyond day-to-day support, you'll help drive enhancements across the trading lifecycle, giving you genuine influence over the technology that powers investment decisions. It's a highly visible, high-impact role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving complex problems at the intersection of technology and trading.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
