Equity Research Analyst / Associate
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $180 - $220/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Participate in structured expert interviews to provide insights into sell-side research methodologies and workflows.
- Test and evaluate AI-powered tools designed for equity research analysis.
- Review and interpret generated financial content for accuracy, depth, and industry relevance.
- Share insights on integrating AI tools into traditional equity research processes.
- Document observations and recommendations to support the development of AI models for financial research.
- Collaborate with project coordinators to ensure feedback is actionable and aligned with project objectives.
- Provide clear written and verbal feedback on financial research workflows and AI-generated outputs.

- Strong experience as a sell-side Equity Research Analyst or Associate covering public companies.
- Strong experience producing published research, including ratings, price targets, earnings notes, or coverage initiations.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI tools used in financial research and analysis workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical rigor, attention to detail, and industry expertise.
- Ability to evaluate and synthesize information from multiple sources into actionable insights.
- Experience working with institutional clients and meeting the standards of published sell-side research.
