ER Specialists, 3 and 6 month FTC - Remote - c£40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) - Leading service provider to public sector organisations
This is an exciting opportunity for an immediately available ER Specialist or an HR Generalist with a strong ER skill set to join a leading service provider on 3 or 6 month contract.
About the Role
Reporting into an HR Business Partner you will work as part of the HR Operations team delivering a high quality and effective advisory service.
Key Responsibilities
- Influencing, supporting and coaching managers on a range of ER matters including probation, investigation, discipline and grievance, complex absence cases, performance
- Managing employee relations case work (up to and including dismissal) across the business
- Proactively managing absence in liaison with Occupational Health and H&S/Wellbeing programmes; reducing absence and associated costs
- Working in partnership with external providers such as Legal Advisors and Occupational Health
- Maintaining records of case management and assisting with the analysis of this data to identify trends and develop mitigation strategies
- Upskilling and coaching managers to independently conduct employee relations casework
- Creating and delivering training workshops for managers to enhance understanding of best practice
- Proactively building and maintaining strong and effective working relationship with managers, employees and stakeholders
- Contributing to the creation of new policies and the review of existing policies
- Leading or supporting on HR projects.

You should be an experienced ER Specialist or an HR Generalist with a proven track record of managing multiple complex employee relations cases. An excellent knowledge of employment law needs to be combined with experience or reviewing and developing policies. Strong stakeholder management skills need to be combined with an ability to coach and upskill managers.
