ERP Business Development Manager

UK Remote | £50,000 - £70,000 Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission

Chapman Tate Associates is proud to be working on behalf of a leading UK ERP Partner as we seek an ambitious and driven ERP Business Development Manager to join their growing sales team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ERP sales professional looking to join a highly successful organisation with a strong delivery capability, excellent market reputation, and a broad portfolio of ERP solutions.

The Role

As an ERP Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and winning new business opportunities across the UK. Working closely with pre-sales and solution consultants, you will manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closure.

You will target organisations looking to modernise their business systems and digital transformation strategies, helping them select the right ERP solution to drive growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute new business sales strategies.
  • Generate, qualify and convert ERP opportunities across multiple verticals.
  • Manage a consultative sales process from discovery through to close.
  • Build relationships with C-Level stakeholders including CFOs, Finance Directors, CIOs, and Managing Directors.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurately forecast revenue.
  • Work collaboratively with pre-sales, marketing, and delivery teams.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in ERP software sales.
  • Experience selling mid-market or enterprise business applications.
  • Strong understanding of finance, operational, and business process challenges.
  • Demonstrable success in new business acquisition.
  • Ability to engage senior decision-makers and run consultative sales conversations.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and manage your own territory.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
