Business Change Lead – SAP Ariba Transformation Programme

Fixed Term Contract.

Help shape the future of Thames Water through one of our most significant transformation programmes.

Thames Water are looking for an experienced Business Change Lead on a fixed term contract until December 2027 to drive the people side of change for the implementation of SAP Ariba, a key part of Thames Water's £30m SAP ERP Cloud Apps Programme.

This role is about far more than implementing technology. It’s about enabling business transformation by helping people, processes and technology come together to create a more connected, efficient and resilient organisation.

Working across Procurement, Commercial, Finance and Corporate Services, your focus will be on ensuring the business is ready to embrace new ways of working and realise the benefits of a modern ERP platform.

As our Change Lead, you will:

  • Lead and deliver the change management approach for the SAP Ariba implementation that aligns people, processes and technology
  • Develop strong stakeholder engagement, communications and business readiness plans, building confidence, commitment and shared ownership across the organisation.
  • Manage change impact assessments that help teams understand how new ways of working will shape roles, processes, capabilities and behaviours.
  • Build a Change Champion Network that inspires collaboration, accelerates adoption and embeds sustainable change.
  • Partner with functional teams to develop training strategies, engagement and adoption
  • Manage reporting that supports informed decisions, reduces risk and keeps the programme moving forward.
  • Support successful go live, hypercare and benefit realisation activities that help the organisation maximise value and confidently embed new ways of working for the future.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
