ERP Consultant (Vehicle Leasing & Lease Accounting)
Location: Reading, London
Work Pattern: Hybrid (Up to 3 days per week in Birmingham Client Office)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ERP Consultant to join our Vehicle Solutions practice, supporting the implementation and optimisation of leasing and finance solutions for customers across the automotive finance, fleet, leasing, and mobility sectors.
In this role, you will work with Miles, our industry-leading vehicle leasing ERP platform, alongside related finance and lease accounting solutions. You will work directly with clients to understand business requirements, design and configure solutions, advise on best practice, and support successful end-to-end implementations.
As a trusted advisor, you will help customers improve business processes, optimise lease accounting operations, and maximise the value of their ERP investment. Working within a multidisciplinary delivery team, you will contribute to implementation projects, product enhancements, testing activities, post-go-live support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support end-to-end ERP implementation projects within vehicle leasing and finance environments.
- Facilitate workshops to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional designs and configuration specifications.
- Configure ERP and vehicle leasing solutions to meet customer-specific business and regulatory requirements.
- Design and validate integrated solutions across leasing, finance, accounting, and operational processes.
- Configure products, pricing models, contract terms, billing processes, and lifecycle events.
- Advise customers on process improvements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with development, testing, data migration, and support teams throughout project delivery.
- Support functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify solution gaps, recommend improvements, and drive issue resolution.
- Provide post-implementation support and optimisation activities.
- Prepare functional documentation, configuration guides, process flows, and training materials.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project updates.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
