ERP Distribution Functional Consultant
Location: Fully Remote
Salary: £70,000
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Permanent
About the Role
We are working with an established ERP Business Partner that is looking to expand its consulting team with an experienced ERP Functional Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ERP consultant with a background in distribution to transition into a new ERP platform. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training on the ERP solution and will use their existing functional consulting experience to deliver successful implementations for customers. The role would suit someone who has a strong understanding of distribution processes, has delivered end-to-end ERP implementations, and is confident working directly with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end ERP implementations, from requirements gathering and discovery through to configuration, testing, training and go-live.
- Work closely with customers to understand their business processes, requirements and challenges.
- Provide functional consultancy across distribution processes, with exposure to finance also highly valuable.
- Conduct requirements gathering, process mapping and gap analysis.
- Configure ERP functionality in line with customer requirements.
- Support system testing, UAT and user training.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful integration and delivery.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on ERP best practice.
- Manage customer relationships throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Support customers through go-live and provide post-implementation support where required.
- Learn and become a specialist in the company's ERP platform through structured training and hands-on project experience.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as an ERP Functional Consultant.
- Strong experience delivering end-to-end ERP implementations.
- A background within distribution, ideally covering areas such as sales, purchasing, inventory, warehousing, stock management and supply chain.
- Finance ERP experience will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of business processes and ERP functionality.
- Experience with requirements gathering, configuration, testing, UAT and go-live.
- Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to confidently communicate with both business users and technical teams.
- A genuine interest in learning and transitioning into a new ERP platform.
- A consultative approach with the ability to challenge processes and recommend improvements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
