ERP & Enterprise Applications Lead
Belfast | Hybrid | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
We're partnering with an ambitious, growing organisation embarking on a significant technology transformation, with a new ERP implementation at the heart of it.
This is more than a system replacement. The business is investing in the technology, data and processes needed to support its next phase of growth, creating greater consistency, better information and a more connected way of working.
They are now looking for an ERP & Enterprise Applications Lead to play a key role in that journey.
The role
This is not a traditional ERP Project Manager position. A separate Project Manager will own the programme plan and governance.
Instead, you'll act as the organisation's internal ERP and solution lead, working across business stakeholders, IT and external implementation specialists.
You'll be involved throughout the ERP lifecycle, from solution design and configuration through data migration, integrations, testing, cutover and stabilisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You'll also provide informed challenge around solution decisions, helping the business adopt best-practice and standard ERP capability wherever possible rather than over-customising the new environment.
What we're looking for
You'll ideally bring:
- Experience across at least one significant end-to-end ERP implementation
- Strong ERP solution design and architecture knowledge
- Experience across data migration, integrations, testing, cutover and go-live
- Confidence working with and challenging external implementation partners
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- The ability to balance business requirements with standard ERP capability and long-term supportability
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be a significant advantage, although candidates from comparable ERP environments will also be considered.

Why consider it?
This is an opportunity to join a transformation at the point where the important decisions are still being made.
You won't simply inherit an established ERP environment, you'll help shape it, implement it and establish how it is managed for the future.
The immediate priority is successful ERP delivery, with the longer-term vision extending into ownership and governance of the wider enterprise applications landscape.
If you've been through a major ERP implementation before and know both what worked and what you'd do differently next time, we'd be keen to speak with you.
