Employment Type: Permanent
ERP: Epicor / Similar Manufacturing ERP
Are you an experienced ERP Functional Consultant with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes?
We’re working with a growing ERP consultancy looking to strengthen its delivery team with an experienced Functional Consultant. Epicor experience would be highly desirable, but we’re equally interested in people who have worked with comparable ERP platforms within manufacturing environments.
This is a client-facing role where you’ll work closely with manufacturing businesses to understand their processes, identify requirements and translate these into effective ERP solutions.
The Role
As an ERP Functional Consultant, you’ll be involved across the implementation lifecycle, including:
- Requirements gathering and business process analysis
- Running customer discovery and solution workshops
- ERP configuration and functional design
- Mapping manufacturing processes and workflows
- Supporting new ERP implementations and optimisation projects
- Data migration, testing and UAT
- User training and go-live support
- Working closely with technical consultants, project managers and customer stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes through better use of ERP technology

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Consider This Opportunity?
This is an opportunity to join a business where you'll have genuine involvement throughout the customer journey rather than simply configuring one small part of an implementation.
You'll work with manufacturing customers on varied ERP projects, have exposure to different business processes and play a key role in helping customers get greater value from their ERP investment.
Don't have Epicor experience?
That isn't necessarily a barrier. If you're an experienced ERP Functional Consultant with a strong manufacturing background and experience implementing another recognised ERP platform, we'd still be very interested in speaking with you.
