ERP Product & Functional Lead – 12 Month FTC
Location: Cambridge or London (Hybrid)
Function: IT
Reporting to: Director ERP IT

About the Role
At Mundipharma, we bring innovative treatments to patients across the globe. As ERP Product & Functional Lead, you will take end-to-end ownership, support, and continuous improvement of our SAP S/4HANA Finance ecosystem.
Acting as a senior IT partner to key stakeholders—including the Head of Shared Services, Global Process Owners, and Market Finance Directors—you will drive solution design, roadmap development, governance, and project delivery across Finance and integrated business processes. You will guide our delivery teams and AMS partners (e.g., Cognizant) through key business changes, new entity setups, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Leadership & Governance: Serve as Technology Product Owner for Finance, leading Design Authority sessions, maintaining system roadmaps aligned with SAP S/4 standards, and ensuring full compliance with GXP/Quality Framework requirements.
- Solution Architecture & Strategy: Drive design conversations and business cases with senior stakeholders, providing functional direction to internal teams and 3rd-party delivery partners without needing to handle day-to-day hands-on configuration.
- Systems & Operational Support: Oversee functional support for SAP Finance (FICO) and connected applications (FSCM, Banking connectivity, Concur, Esker), guiding resolution for complex issues across P2P, O2C, inter-company, and month/year-end processes.
- Business Transformation & Expansion: Guide financial data structures, profit center setups, and process integrations for new market entity rollouts.

What You’ll Bring
Must-Have Experience & Skills:
- Experience: 10–12+ years of experience in ERP implementation and operational support, with strong hands-on/functional foundations in SAP S/4HANA FICO.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a track record of quickly gaining trust with senior stakeholders (FDs, Shared Service Leads, GPOs).
- Vendor & Team Leadership: Proven experience managing onshore/offshore third-party AMS vendors and project delivery teams.
- Domain Knowledge: Core understanding of Finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C), inter-company transactions, banking connectivity, and regulatory requirements (LFR/IFRS).
Preferred Qualifications & Background:
- Experience in Pharmaceuticals or highly regulated manufacturing/CPG environments (GXP exposure).
- Experience with connected finance systems (Esker, Concur) and cross-ERP knowledge (Oracle EBS).
- SAP Certification or Agile/Project Management delivery qualifications.
- Background in management consulting or complex global industry environments.
