Job Description:
We are looking for a Solution Manager / Integration Engineer within our "Digital for Operation" department in Toulouse (or second choice in Belfast, Broughton, Toulouse or Hamburg).
The Mission: Connecting the Digital and Physical Worlds
At Airbus, we are not just defining the future of flight; we are fundamentally pioneering the next generation of aerospace production. This transformation requires a complete overhaul of our digital ecosystem, and we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Solution Manager to be a core part of this journey. This role is far more than a typical management position; you are the essential "translator/connector leader", the indispensable figure who translates the complexity of large-scale SAP architectures and strategic digital roadmaps into tangible, effective realities on our high-pressure shop floors.
You will join the "Digital for Operation" business department, the cornerstone of our industrial transformation. Within this department, we aim to simplify, streamline, prioritize & unlock the full potential of the latest digital technologies for the benefit of our operations.
The modern industrial landscape is characterized by immense challenges: massive production ramp-ups, rapid technological acceleration, and the inherent complexity of integrating cross-functional ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) deployments across diverse sites.
This is why the Solution Management Team (SMT), which you will integrate, is so vital. The SMT acts as the transversal, high-impact unit dedicated to strategic unblocking. In scenarios where process "ownership" is decentralized, fragmented, or unclear, the SMT steps in to provide the critical clarity, authoritative direction, and structural framework necessary to accelerate value capture and ensure project continuity.
By joining the SMT, you become a catalyst for solutions:
- Structuring: Transforming complex issues into actionable "Epics."
- Arbitration: Removing roadblocks (digital, process, strategic) and clarifying responsibilities.
- Governance: Directly influencing the ERP Roadmap through fine-tuned priority management.
- Delivery: Ensuring the operational handover up to the effective delivery of value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
