ERP System Implementation Consultant | Up to £55,000 | Leeds | Hybrid

Are you an ERP or technical support professional who enjoys solving complex integration challenges and working directly with customers? This is an opportunity to combine hands-on XSLT development with solution design, project delivery and client consultancy, helping businesses connect their systems and improve the way critical data moves across their operations.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will take ownership of ERP integration projects from initial scoping through to implementation, training and ongoing support. Working closely with customers, the sales team and technical colleagues, you will translate business requirements into practical integration solutions, manage multiple projects and contribute hands-on XSLT development where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising customers on software installations, upgrades, and integration requirements.
  • Develop and maintain XSLT maps that transform customer data accurately between connected systems.
  • Configure and develop RunSets that connect external data sources, ERP platforms and transformation processes.
  • Investigate and resolve complex integration issues escalated by the support team
  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of multiple customer integration projects, coordinating documentation, commercial inputs, timelines, change management, customer meetings and end-user training.

Key Skills:

  • Experience supporting, implementing or consulting on ERP systems in a customer-facing environment.
  • Practical knowledge of XSLT, supported by wider programming or scripting experience.
  • Hands-on scripting or programming experience in a language such as Java, PHP or.NET, with the ability to learn and work across different technologies.
  • Understanding of document formats such as CSV and XML.
  • Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL Server queries to investigate data, validate integrations and resolve customer issues.
  • Excellent project management and customer facing capabilities.
  • A strong understanding of typical business management processes, including order management, stock control and invoicing.

Desirable Technical Skills:

  • Exposure to SAP Business One or Sage ERP systems.
  • Experience of EDI standards and systems.
  • Basic understanding of SOAP and REST web services.
  • A strong understanding of AI and Microsoft Copilot tools and concepts.

The Candidate

This opportunity would suit an ERP Consultant, Implementation Consultant or Technical Support professional who is ready to take greater ownership of customer projects. You will bring knowledge of XSLT alongside practical scripting or programming experience and be comfortable translating technical requirements into clear, workable solutions. Combining hands-on development with customer consultancy, you will guide clients through the integration process and help ensure projects are delivered successfully.
