ERP Systems Lead (K8 - Babbage) | London (Hybrid)
£70,000 + Benefits
A growing private equity-backed building materials distribution group is looking for an experienced Trading Systems Lead to take ownership of its core trading systems environment, with Klipboard K8 (formerly Kerridge K8) at the heart of the platform.
This is a key role for someone with strong, hands-on experience of K8 - Babbage/Kerridge who understands how to support, configure and improve a trading system within a wholesale, distribution or merchanting environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and develop the Klipboard K8 / Kerridge K8 - Babbage roadmap and platform
- Lead K8 configuration, enhancements, support and continuous improvement
- Translate business requirements into practical system solutions
- Manage application support, incidents, releases and system performance
- Work with stakeholders across finance, commercial and operational teams
- Manage K8 suppliers, vendors and implementation partners
- Support acquisitions, integrations and wider transformation projects
- Help develop internal ERP capability and reduce reliance on external support

What They're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience with Klipboard K8 / Kerridge K8 - Babbage, ideally owning or leading the platform
- Experience working within wholesale, distribution, merchanting or retail environments
- Good understanding of trading, finance and operational processes within K8
- Experience with ERP application support, configuration and continuous improvement
- Strong stakeholder and requirements-gathering skills
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and technical partners
- Previous experience leading or developing an ERP/application support function
