Interim ERP Readiness & Transformation Lead

London | Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office
£750 - £850 per day | Outside IR35
Initial 3 to 6-month contract | Potential extension

Zachary Daniels are partnering with a growing consumer-facing organisation at a pivotal stage of its business and technology transformation.

We are looking for an experienced ERP transformation specialist to lead the organisation through the critical readiness phase of a major ERP programme. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who can assess the current operating environment, define what ERP-ready looks like and create a clear route into selection and implementation.

This is not a generalist Programme Manager position. The successful candidate will bring deep ERP, business process, data and operational transformation experience.

The Role

You will:

  • Lead end-to-end process discovery across Finance, Supply Chain, Product, Commercial and Technology
  • Map current-state processes and identify systems, data, control and operational gaps
  • Define pragmatic future-state processes and ERP requirements
  • Establish the master data architecture and governance required for ERP readiness
  • Translate business needs into clear functional, data, integration, reporting and control requirements
  • Assess which capabilities should sit within the ERP and which should remain within adjacent systems
  • Lead or support a vendor-neutral ERP selection process, including RFI/RFP, demonstrations, fit-gap analysis and partner assessment
  • Develop a practical implementation roadmap covering resources, dependencies, data migration, business readiness and risk
  • Build alignment across senior stakeholders and ensure critical business decisions are made
  • Potentially continue through implementation, acting as the senior business-side transformation lead and managing the chosen implementation partner

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
