Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Quality: Drive quality and reliability into products and manufacturing processes across the external supply chain to meet stringent F1 criteria.
  • Supplier Selection & Readiness: Partner with Product Engineering and Purchasing to evaluate supplier manufacturing capability, determine capacity, and ensure full production readiness.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Lead technical investigations and support external suppliers in resolving complex electronic and manufacturing challenges.
  • Component Conformance: Analyse complex electronic assemblies to verify part compliance against technical drawings, CAD, and functional specifications.
  • Process Optimisation: Champion continuous improvement and process development initiatives with suppliers to enhance technical capability and efficiency.
  • Non-Conformance & Containment: Manage non-conforming products rapidly and effectively, establishing robust containment actions across suppliers, the factory, and trackside operations.
  • Programme Delivery: Maintain alignment with strict project milestones to ensure components are delivered to build schedules without delay.

What We Are Looking For

  • Currently studying towards an undergraduate degree in Electrical, Electronic, Automotive, Mechatronics, Motorsport, or Aeronautical Engineering (or related STEM disciplines such as Physics/Maths), on track for a 2:1 or above.
  • Strong academic grounding in STEM subjects at A-Level (or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of engineering first principles with practical, hands-on technical experience outside the lecture theatre.
  • A proactive, inquisitive mindset with the confidence to challenge conventions and tackle complex technical problems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and high-precision suppliers.
  • High adaptability, self-motivation, and resilience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
