Position Summary

Senior-level SAP FICO Consultant responsible for leading functional design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions. The role drives end-to-end finance transformations, ensures compliance with Colombian statutory requirements, mentors junior consultants, and acts as the primary finance subject-matter-expert for projects and production support across regional and global initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirement workshops with finance, controlling, and tax stakeholders to define solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Design and configure FI and CO processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Architect and validate end-to-end integration scenarios between FI/CO and MM, SD, PP, and other modules or third-party systems.
• Develop functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and reports; coordinate with ABAP and technical teams during build and transport cycles.
• Lead data migration strategy and execution for master and transactional data (mapping, cleansing, LSMW/BDC/DTM/IDoc or modern ETL approaches).
• Drive testing activities: unit, integration, regression, and UAT; prepare test plans and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Oversee go-live planning and hypercare support; resolve complex production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure finance process design meets Colombian statutory, tax, and reporting requirements including VAT, withholding tax, e-invoicing considerations, and DIAN compliance where applicable.
