Escort Driver/Banksman
Permanent
Location: Colnbrook/Heathrow Airport
Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 17:00
Pay: £16.43ph
About The Role
As an Escort Driver / Banksman, you will be responsible for escorting delivery vehicles across airport operational areas, ensuring compliance with aviation security regulations, health & safety requirements and site procedures. You'll work closely with drivers, security teams and operational colleagues to maintain the safe and efficient movement of vehicles while protecting the integrity of airport operations.
- Escort vehicles safely to designated airside locations.
- Conduct vehicle, driver and documentation checks.
- Monitor driver conduct and vehicle movements.
- Ensure compliance with airside safety and security regulations.
- Assist with route planning and vehicle navigation.
- Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
- Support traffic management and banksman activities.
- Identify, investigate and escalate security or safety concerns.

What We Are Looking For
- Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, professional and able to work as part of a team.
- Basic IT skills and accurate record-keeping ability.
- Capacity to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to pass aviation security vetting and obtain an Airside Pass.
Desirable
- Previous airside driving experience.
- Banksman / Traffic Marshal qualification.
- CSCS Labourer Card.
- First Aid qualification.
- Fire Marshal qualification.
