As we prepare for our next B Corp certification, we're looking for an enthusiastic ESG Graduate to join our Sustainability team and play a key role in one of our most important strategic projects.
This is far more than a graduate role. You'll work alongside senior leaders across the business, helping to gather evidence, analyse data, improve processes and drive sustainability initiatives that create real impact for our people, our communities and the planet.
Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, you'll gain exposure to every area of ESG—from environmental performance and social impact to governance and responsible business practices—while helping to shape the future of one of the UK's best-known bed brands.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the delivery of Silentnight's B Corp recertification project.
- Coordinating evidence and documentation across multiple business functions.
- Analysing ESG data and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Working with teams across Manufacturing, HR, Procurement, Finance and Operations to embed responsible business practices.
- Supporting sustainability reporting and communications.
- Helping deliver projects that reduce environmental impact and improve social value.
- Researching emerging sustainability trends, legislation and best practice.

What we're looking for
We're looking for curious, motivated graduates who are excited by sustainability and love solving problems.
You'll ideally have:
- A degree (or expected degree) in a relevant discipline. This could include environmental or natural sciences, geography, engineering, data or analytics, economics, business, public policy or sustainability-related study.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Confidence working with data and Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- A genuine interest in helping businesses become more sustainable.

Previous sustainability work experience isn't essential—we're looking for potential, curiosity and a desire to make a difference.
What to expect at interview
As part of the interview, you'll be asked to give a short explanation of a technical or data-led topic to a non-specialist audience. The topic and format will be shared in advance.
