The Role

Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to help drive the transition to a low-carbon future? Join our ESG team!

The ESG Intern is part of the ESG team and reports to the Senior ESG Manager. The ESG Intern will support the implementation of the Group's sustainability strategy and ESG risk management across our value chain. This is a hands-on role for someone who is digitally fluent and keen to help automate and scale ESG processes, from supplier due diligence to ESG reporting, data management, and net zero transition activities.

The ESG Intern will support ESG initiatives across the business, assisting with supplier ESG reviews, ESG reporting, sustainability data management, and ESG assessments for projects and investments. The role will also contribute to the delivery of the Group's Net Zero Transition Plan and wider sustainability strategy while identifying opportunities to improve ESG processes through digital and AI-enabled tools. This role is focused on supporting ongoing initiatives and improving processes rather than independently owning workstreams.

Desirable skills:

  • Interest in sustainability, ESG, and the energy transition.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and Excel, with an interest in data analysis and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills across functions and countries.
  • Recently graduated in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, or Finance.

We use English as our business language, please submit your CV in English.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
