About the Role
London Success Academy is looking for an experienced ESG & Sustainability professional to mentor participants in our 4-week ESG & Sustainability Internship Programme.
The mentor will guide aspiring ESG and sustainability professionals through practical projects, real-world business case studies, ESG frameworks and sustainability strategies, helping them develop industry-relevant skills and understand how ESG is applied within organisations.
This is an ideal opportunity for an ESG or sustainability professional who enjoys mentoring, knowledge-sharing and supporting emerging talent.
Key Responsibilities:
As an ESG & Sustainability Mentor, you will:
- Deliver engaging online mentoring sessions on ESG and sustainability topics
- Guide interns through real-world ESG and sustainability case studies and projects
- Explain key ESG frameworks, reporting standards and industry practices
- Support interns in analysing organisations' Environmental, Social and Governance performance
- Provide guidance on sustainability strategy, corporate responsibility, climate risk and responsible business practices
- Review assignments and provide constructive, practical feedback
- Help interns translate ESG analysis into clear recommendations for business stakeholders
- Share insights into ESG careers, industry expectations and current market practices
- Support participants in developing a strong portfolio-ready ESG project
- Encourage professional development, critical thinking and practical application of ESG concepts

You could currently be working as an ESG Analyst, Sustainability Consultant, ESG Consultant, Sustainability Manager, ESG Manager, Environmental Consultant, CSR Professional, Climate/Sustainability Specialist, or in a related role.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Professional experience within ESG, sustainability, environmental consulting or a closely related field
- Strong understanding of ESG principles and sustainable business practices
- Familiarity with relevant ESG reporting frameworks, standards and/or regulations
- Ability to translate technical ESG concepts into clear, practical guidance
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Confidence providing feedback on projects and case studies
- Genuine interest in mentoring and developing aspiring professionals
Desirable
- Previous mentoring, coaching, training, teaching or team-development experience
- Experience working with ESG reporting or sustainability frameworks
- Consulting or corporate ESG experience
- Knowledge of UK ESG and sustainability practices
- Experience presenting ESG findings or recommendations to business stakeholders
Previous formal mentoring experience is not essential if you have strong industry expertise and enjoy supporting others.
