Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council

Situated in North Worcestershire, Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council share services and work together to deliver high-quality services to our communities.

We are committed to being a customer-focused organisation, placing residents at the heart of everything we do. Our aim is to deliver reliable, high-quality services that make a positive difference to the communities we serve.

The Role

Bromsgrove and Redditch Councils are seeking to recruit Food Waste Collection Loaders to support the delivery of our new weekly food waste collection service across both districts.

As a Food Waste Collection Loader, you will play a key role in helping residents recycle their food waste and contribute to environmental sustainability. Working as part of a collection crew, you will collect food waste from residential properties and ensure waste is handled safely and efficiently.

There may also be opportunities to support the wider Waste Services team, including domestic refuse, recycling and garden waste collections, as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
