Role Description
This remote ESOL Interactive Online Tutor (Education) role is a contract position focused on teaching English to speakers of other languages in a virtual classroom environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Planning and delivering interactive online lessons
- Using digital tools and platforms to engage learners of varying proficiency levels
- Assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching materials to individual needs and learning goals
- Maintaining accurate session records
- Communicating clearly with learners and, when relevant, partner organizations
- Ensuring a supportive, inclusive learning atmosphere

Qualifications
- Strong instructional skills in English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language, with the ability to explain language concepts clearly.
- Experience with Online Tutoring and Tutoring, including managing live virtual sessions and engaging learners in interactive activities.
- General Teaching skills, such as lesson planning, classroom management in an online context, and learner assessment.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, with clear, neutral communication suitable for international learners.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms, video conferencing tools, and basic digital classroom technologies.
- Ability to create inclusive, culturally sensitive learning environments and adapt materials for different age groups and proficiency levels.
- Previous experience teaching ESOL or EFL in online or in-person settings is an advantage.
