ESOL Tutor
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic ESOL Tutor to deliver bespoke 1:1 education packages to children and young people who speak English as an Additional Language (EAL) and require additional support with their English language development.
As an ESOL Tutor, you must be able to create, plan, and deliver tailored lessons that develop pupils' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, while helping them build confidence in communicating effectively in English.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced teacher, tutor, or ESOL professional looking to step away from the classroom and provide more personalised and impactful support. Many of the learners you will work with may be new to the UK education system, refugees, asylum seekers, or pupils who have experienced interruptions to their education. As a result, confidence levels and English proficiency may vary significantly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
