ESTATE ADMINISTRATOR

DEVELOPMENT DETAILS

You’ll be based at one of South East London’s most significant riverside communities, set within the historic Royal Arsenal along the Thames in Woolwich and home to around 2,800 households. The development blends heritage architecture with contemporary living, complete with a residents’ spa and gym, landscaped courtyards and lively walkways. With the Elizabeth line and National Rail a short stroll away, you’ll enjoy a dynamic, well-connected setting where no two days are the same and community interaction is at the heart of what you do.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

You will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, providing a warm, efficient front-of-house service while keeping the estate office running smoothly. You’ll coordinate repairs and services, manage enquiries, maintain records and support the onsite team to deliver a consistently excellent resident experience.

  • You keep the estate office organised, with accurate records, clear processes and timely reporting.
  • You proactively chase actions and follow up with contractors to ensure issues are resolved first time.

How You'll Spend Most Of Your Time

  • Greeting residents and visitors, handling enquiries by phone, email and in person.
  • Logging and tracking maintenance requests, liaising with contractors and the onsite team.
  • Maintaining resident databases, permits, keys, deliveries and access control records.
  • Preparing notices, letters and updates, and supporting resident communications.
  • Assisting with Health & Safety checks, compliance documentation and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinating bookings for amenities and ensuring communal areas are presentable.

Experience That Helps

  • Experience in residential, hospitality, corporate reception or customer service environments.
  • Familiarity with coordinating contractors, facilities or maintenance requests.
  • Confidence using property/CRM systems, Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
  • Exposure to Health & Safety processes, incident reporting and record keeping.
  • Experience working within a large, diverse community or multi-block development.
