Role Description

The Estate Agent role at Spicerhaart is a full-time, on-site position based in Cwmbrân. Day-to-day responsibilities include valuing properties, listing homes for sale, arranging and conducting viewings, and advising clients throughout the buying and selling process. The role involves managing a personal portfolio of properties, maintaining accurate records, and using CRM systems to track leads and progress sales. Estate Agents will build and maintain strong relationships with sellers, buyers, and local stakeholders, providing clear communication and guidance at every stage. The position also includes negotiating offers, liaising with solicitors and other professionals, and supporting associated services such as mortgages and conveyancing to help clients complete transactions smoothly.

  • Strong customer service and client relationship skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and in writing.
  • Sales and negotiation skills, including experience working to targets, handling offers, and securing instructions or agreements.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities, with competence in managing multiple properties, appointments, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfort with digital tools and property systems, including CRM software, online listings platforms, and standard office applications.
  • Knowledge or interest in the local property market in Cwmbrân and surrounding areas, with a willingness to learn and stay informed on market trends.
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for attending valuations, viewings, and client meetings.
  • Prior experience in estate agency, property sales, or a closely related field is beneficial, though candidates with strong transferable skills will be considered.
  • Professional, ethical approach, with attention to detail, resilience, and a commitment to delivering an excellent client experience.
