Are you an estate agent who knows how to win instructions but wants more control over your income and working life?
The Auction Company is expanding across the UK and looking for experienced estate agents to build their own pipeline of auction business with the support of a national auction network.
You already understand property, valuations, sellers, and how to win instructions. We will train you in property auctions and give you the technology, systems, and support needed to turn that experience into a flexible, uncapped income opportunity.
This is not a salaried estate agency position. It is a self-employed, commission-only business opportunity.
What’s in it for you?
- Earn 2% of the final sale price on direct seller instructions, with a minimum commission of £2,500 + VAT
- Earn 1% of the final sale price on qualifying estate agent introductions, with a minimum commission of £1,250 + VAT
- Uncapped earning potential
- No postcode restrictions
- Work across any location and property price range
- Flexible hours, allowing you to build the opportunity full-time or alongside your current commitments
- Full auction and back-office support

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
