Estate Agent / Sales Negotiator
Join Our Established Highland Property Team as an Estate Agent / Sales Negotiator
Innes & MacKay is an established firm of solicitors, estate agents and notaries based in Inverness, with a proud history dating back to 1874. We are currently seeking a confident, organised and approachable Estate Agent / Sales Negotiator to join our busy estate agency team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced and supportive team while helping clients throughout the buying and selling process.
The Role
As an Estate Agent / Sales Negotiator at Innes & MacKay, you will take on a varied, client-facing role that includes:
- Communicating with buyers and sellers throughout the property process
- Carrying out property marketing appraisals
- Conducting accompanied property viewings, with a pool car provided
- Drafting property brochures and marketing materials
- Managing property listings and keeping information up to date
- Negotiating offers and supporting clients through the sales process
- Working closely with our conveyancing team

The role is office-based at our Inverness office, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.
What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will:
- Be confident, professional and comfortable communicating with clients
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills
- Be able to manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks effectively
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- Hold a valid UK driving licence
- Previous experience within estate agency, property sales, administration or another customer-facing role is preferred.
