Estate Manager

Location: Humber region
Salary: Up to £62,000 + benefits
Working arrangement: Hybrid

The Opportunity

We are working with a leading UK property and infrastructure organisation seeking an experienced Estate Manager to support its commercial property portfolio across the Humber region.

Reporting to the Property Manager, you will provide operational and strategic property advice, manage landlord and tenant matters, and help maximise the performance and long-term value of the estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of a varied commercial property portfolio.
  • Negotiate lease terms, renewals, rent reviews, and lease restructures.
  • Ensure compliance with landlord and tenant obligations.
  • Maintain accurate lease records and monitor critical dates.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and ensure appropriate standards are maintained.
  • Support annual asset valuations in accordance with current IFRS requirements.
  • Monitor rent collection and arrears, working closely with finance and legal teams.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, reduce costs, and enhance asset value.
  • Build strong relationships with tenants, occupiers, agents, and other stakeholders.
  • Support property budgets, forecasts, and regular reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, building standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Assist with the development of existing assets and new commercial opportunities.

  • Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
  • Strong commercial property and landlord and tenant experience.
  • Knowledge of asset valuations and current IFRS requirements.
  • Confident managing lease events, tenant relationships, and property compliance.
  • Strong commercial judgement with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • RICS Registered Valuer status would be advantageous.
